Chrome Comes to Android Devices – Some of Them
Yesterday, in my post about the Dolphin web browser for Android, I complained about the native Android web browser. Today, Google announced that my favorite desktop browser, Chrome, is now available for some Android devices.
Chrome for Android offers some handy features including sending links from Chrome on your desktop to Chrome on your mobile device. Chrome for Android will sync your bookmarks between your desktop and your mobile device too. The final feature that I think will be very useful is Link Preview. Link Preview will automatically zoom-in on links to make them easier to click on on your mobile device.
Watch an overview of Chrome for Android in the video below.
The only problem with Chrome for Android right now is that it is only available for devices running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Currently there are very few devices that support Android 4.0, but one that I can’t wait to try is ASUS Transformer Prime.
