Create a Child-friendly Android Phone with Kytephone

Share

Kytephone is a free Android app that turns your Android phone into a child-friendly smart phone. The app allows parents to create a child-only section on an Android phone. That child-only section without entering the correct password. Kytephone gives parents a record of which apps their children have used, calls made, pictures taken, and where the phone has been (location data must be enabled).

Kytephone is obviously designed for parents, but I do know of some schools that have issued Android phones to students. In those cases using Kytephone could be a good way to monitor how the phones are used by students.

H/T to TechCrunch.
