Anatomy 3D from Anatronica is a nice app for students studying anatomy and physiology. The app provides students with a 3D model that they can tap, rotate, zoom in on. Students can view the skeleton on its own or view the body with additional system layers. For example, students can turn on the muscle system layer and click through to see the muscles and where they are in relation to the bones of the skeleton.
In the free version of Anatomy 3D students can see the labels for the bones and muscles in the human body. In the pro version ($4.99) students can view the circulatory, nervous, respiratory, digestive, reproductive, and urinary systems. Watch a tour of the app in the video below.
