Google Docs for Android Gets an Update – Improved Copy & Paste and More
If you are using your Google Docs on your Android device, you might have noticed that it updated today. If you don’t have automatic updates turned on, you’ll want to go into your settings and update the Google Docs app. Today’s update to Google Docs for Android offers improved cut, copy, and paste options. You can now copy and paste text along with images, tables, and charts in Office Compatibility Mode. The other update to the app enables you to insert hyperlinks into your documents.
The improved copy and paste could be helpful if you regularly open email attachments on your Android phone or tablet then work with them in Google Docs. This update brings the Docs Android app closer to the functionality of the browser-based version of Docs.
