When studying, it is important to properly allocate the most valuable resource – time. It’s hard to keep all the assignments, tests and quizzes in your head. Not only notebooks and diaries, but also planning apps can help you systematize the learning process and organize your time. We have collected a list of the best ones.

MyStudyLife

An application created especially for schoolchildren and students. With its help you can make a schedule of couples, set yourself tasks and reminders. MyStudyLife is completely free and available on iOS, Android and in browsers: plan your week from your laptop and check your schedule from your phone, also in offline mode. For the student, MyStudyLife can completely replace a paper planner.

iStudiez

Another app aimed at high school and college students. Like MyStudyLife, it will show you the schedule of couples and seminars, remind you about the upcoming test. But besides that, iStudiez allows you to keep track of your grades and write down your teachers’ contacts – other apps on this list don’t have such handy features.

Todait

Korean app Todait is suitable for long-term goals, like studying for exams and learning new skills. It’s not just a planner: you can measure how much time is spent on a particular task. Todait also helps you develop a daily study habit, which is convenient because it’s easier to memorize information in small amounts. The app is free and available only on iOS and Android.

AnyDo

AnyDo, like TickTick, is a hybrid planner and calendar. It is suitable for those who like minimalistic design and simple interface. AnyDo AnyDo’s built-in day planner mode helps you keep things on track. Every morning the application shows a list of incoming tasks and suggests you to schedule them for today, tomorrow or another day.

Todoist

Similar in many ways to the previous two apps, but is characterized by advanced features. In Todoist, tasks can be grouped using tags, projects, and subtasks. Todoist also has a built-in “karma” system that adds and removes points for completed and overdue tasks. The resulting schedule additionally motivates you to use this particular planner.

2do

2do has a unique feature of sorting tasks by start and finish, tags, status, priority, title and location. In addition, 2do has smart lists, a handy side menu, tags, and the ability to turn tasks into projects and checklists.

Wunderlist

With Wunderlist you can track your exam preparation, write down homework assignments, make todo-lists and reading lists. You can attach a date to each item on the list and set up notifications. Wunderlist supports teamwork, so you can do common tasks with your classmates.

Trello

This is a mobile and compact version of kanban board. The board in Trello is divided into multiple columns consisting of cards. It is such a simple and flexible system that it can be used in any convenient way: for example, you can create a separate column for each subject and write in it all assignments, tests and quizzes related to that subject. Trello is also suitable for notes: create a new board dedicated to one subject and post lecture and seminar materials on it.

For the modern student, the phone is not only a way to kill time on a pair, but also an effective tool. Planners help to write down all the important things to do and eliminate the need to remember everything. If you learn time management during your student years, it will be much easier to manage things at your future job.
